"I could sit at home for years and be happy. If only it weren't for the train stations." (Josef Roth)
Train stations and their hustle and bustle have always inspired writers. Have you also been much more creative in other places than at your desk at home?
Let's be inspired by the atmosphere at Klagenfurt Central Station and its immediate surroundings, with its arrivals, departures, workers, pigeons and sometimes shady characters, and then write in the nearby VHS course rooms.
We will then discuss the resulting texts in the group and you will receive constructive and appreciative feedback.
It doesn't matter whether you have never written before or have already published texts. Everyone is welcome!
Meeting point: VHS Klagenfurt, ÖGB room 4
Course instructor: Elisabeth Quast, BA, MEd - is a writer and board member of the Carinthian Writers' Association. She studied English literature as well as German and English for secondary school teaching.
