We use one of the smaller harmonicas: a harp in C major with 10 undivided channels according to the Richter system in playable quality (price range from € 30,-). Harps can be purchased in the course from € 37.
Like no other instrument, it is easy to take anywhere and, above all, easy to learn because no special talent or knowledge of sheet music is required. As a melody and accompaniment instrument, it is widely used in everything from folk music to rock and pop.
The beginners' course is especially for those interested in playing rock, blues or boogie. We start with simple folk pieces using a method without sheet music to learn to play single notes. Then we practise rhythm playing and the cross harp technique (G on the C harp) with bending (bending down the notes).
In the basic course, the elementary playing techniques are taught in a clear way, even to beginners. The instructor's special instruction books (with CD) are also available, making it easier for participants to continue at home.
In addition, the health aspect should not be underestimated, as playing the harmonica challenges your breathing and can be played well into old age!
