Survival basics: fire, shelter, water, food & orientation

In this one-day workshop, you will learn how to meet the basic needs of warmth, sleep, water and food and how to find your way with a map and compass.
Together with Paul Ulrich, you will spend a day in nature in all weathers and learn to discover it in a new way.

For anyone with an interest in sustainable topics. No previous knowledge is required.

The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged. The "VHS Green" course encourages personal and social change and promotes sustainable lifestyles. The learning objectives are to acquire knowledge about, for example, ecological, social and economic interrelationships and to motivate students to act in a reflective, responsible and resource-conserving manner. #vhsforfuture #BNE
