From the idea to the premiere - insights behind the scenes - Module 1: Rehearsal, dramaturgy and directing (The Love Potion)

The course offers practical insights into the creation of Gaetano Donizetti's opera The Love Potion - from the initial idea to the premiere. Inspired by the look behind the scenes, participants will creatively engage with the theatrical events and express their own ideas. The participants are guests at the rehearsal stage of The Love Potion and gain insights into directing and dramaturgy work in order to develop their own scenic ideas.


Module 1: Rehearsal, dramaturgy and directing (The Love Potion)
- 10:30-11:30 Visit to the rehearsal (from the balcony) The Love Potion
- 11:30-13:30 Discussion with the dramaturge or director of the theater
- 14:00-15:30 Practice: Discussion of what you have seen and experienced: develop your own initial ideas for scenes and implement them creatively
