Culture as an educational factor - How can festivals such as the Carinthian Summer contribute to cultural education in Carinthia?

Cultural participation is a human right. Since last year, the Carinthian Summer has been under the artistic direction of artistic director Nadja Kayali. Under the season's motto "personal", the energy of a new beginning has made it possible to appeal to a large number of people from a wide range of target groups. The successful course will be continued in 2025 under the title "bewegt". VHS Managing Director Beate Gfrerer explores the questions of how to make the program accessible to a broad audience with different performance formats, how culture reaches the population and how cultural participation and education can be strengthened as a result.
