The food requirements of the individual bird species are as colorful as the bird world itself.
Especially in fall and winter, the feeders are visited by "thick-billed" birds. What is the connection between the shape of the birds' beaks and their feeding habits? Which species can be observed at bird feeders?

In this course, experts from BirdLife Austria give tips and tricks for bird identification and introduce the most common garden birds of the winter months.

The course consists of a 70-minute lecture and a 3-hour excursion.
Lecture: Saturday, December 13, 2025 18:00 to 19:10 - 8. Mai Str, 20, 9020 Klagenfurt
Excursion: Sunday, December 14, 2025 8:30 to 11:30, meeting point: main entrance Strandbad Klagenfurt
