Starting complementary foods - relaxed and well informed
When is the right time for the first porridge? What belongs on baby's spoon - and what shouldn't? In this presentation, you will receive a well-founded overview of all the important aspects of starting complementary foods. You will learn how you can make the complementary feeding time child-friendly, balanced and stress-free - both with classic porridges and based on the concept of baby-led weaning (porridge-free complementary feeding). In addition to practical tips, you will receive information on suitable foods, allergy prevention, the right portion size and consistency as well as the gradual introduction of meals. Common uncertainties such as "What should I do if my baby doesn't want to eat?" or "How can complementary food be combined with breastfeeding or the bottle?" are also addressed.
