Let's make ourselves comfortable in the Musilmuseum's literature lounge and discuss books. Two of them are written by contemporary authors who imagine life in the not-too-distant future. The third is set in the GDR past and was written by contemporary witnesses. What unites all three - they describe life in dystopias, in more or less pronounced dictatorships of a real or imagined nature.

Particularly in today's times of multiple crises, in which authoritarian systems are once again gaining the upper hand, it is imperative to deal with mechanisms of power and possible futures.
Each week is therefore dedicated to one of these works, which we will discuss together.
