For the excursion (09:00 to approx. 12:00), we recommend that you bring warm clothing adapted to the weather conditions and (if available) a pair of binoculars. Please do not bring dogs. Sunday: Meeting point: Dragositschach observation hut parking lot in Rosental.
Water bodies and wetlands are important resting and wintering areas for numerous birds. With a bit of luck, rare species from the north can be observed.
Water birds are easy to observe and are an ideal introduction to ornithology. The course consists of a 70-minute lecture and a 3-hour excursion.

Aspects of sustainability are discussed, opportunities for action are highlighted and reflection is encouraged.
