In this grandparent preparation course in cooperation with Kärntner Nestl, we look at the many changes in early childhood in recent decades. Together we will look at current findings and their significance for young families. The aim of the course is to give you confidence in dealing with modern parenting concepts and to understand the changes - without judging them.
Course content:
Bonding in the postpartum period - Why closeness and physical contact are important right from the start - and how grandparents can help shape bonding.
Feeding in the first year - What is meant by sucking confusion or clustering today and why needs-oriented feeding is the focus.
Carrying & closeness - Why carrying is so recommended today and what it has to do with child development.
Baby sleep & family rhythm - What recommendations there are today for the sleeping environment and why every baby has its own rhythm.
Target group: for grandparents-to-be, for new grandparents and for grandparents who want to contribute more knowledge.
