Proper pruning promotes the growth, health and shape of fruit and ornamental trees. In this course, you will learn the basics of pruning: when, how and why to prune trees and put this knowledge into practice directly on site.
In the theoretical part, we will teach you the most important pruning rules, tools, pruning times and tree shapes. Then it's on to the practical part, where you will try out what you have learned on real trees under supervision - whether rejuvenation pruning, training pruning or caring for old trees.
Ideal for garden owners, hobby gardeners and anyone who wants to keep their trees healthy and sustainable.

In case of bad weather, the course will take place on 15. 11. 2025.
For anyone with an interest in sustainable topics. Previous knowledge is not required.
The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged. The "VHS Green" course encourages personal and social change and promotes sustainable lifestyles.
