A flourishing vegetable garden doesn't just start in spring - it starts on paper. If you plan early on what should grow when and where in the garden, you can look forward to a rich harvest, healthy plants and less work.
Proper cultivation planning helps to make optimum use of space, observe crop rotations and prevent pests. Mixed cultivation, soil health and harvest times can also be controlled in a targeted manner - without green fingers, but with a little knowledge and good preparation.
In our gardening knowledge courses, we provide practical advice on how to plan cultivation in the home garden - whether on the land, in raised beds or on the balcony. Because if you grow your own vegetables, you harvest more than just tomatoes: namely joy, satisfaction and a bit of self-sufficiency.

For anyone with an interest in sustainable topics. No previous knowledge is required.

The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged. The "VHS Green" course encourages personal and social change and promotes sustainable lifestyles. The learning objectives are to acquire knowledge about, for example, ecological, social and economic interrelationships and to motivate students to act in a reflective, responsible and resource-conserving manner. #vhsforfuture #BNE
