The Alpe-Adria-Trail is a long-distance hiking trail that leads from the Grossglockner via Slovenia to Muggia. Dr. Wilhelm Baier offers an exciting insight into the diverse flora along this popular long-distance hiking trail. Visitors learn about typical Alpine and Adriatic flora, from colorful Alpine flowers to rare flowering plants of the region. In his book "Blumen am Weg- Blütenplanzen, die man am Alpen-Adria-Trail sehen kann", he follows the trail in the opposite direction from the sea to the mountains.
