Here's to being good neighbors! Mixed cultivation in the garden, on the balcony or on the terrace
Part 3: Helper and indicator plants in mixed cultivation
Plants show us the properties of the soil through their presence and are therefore natural indicators. In mixed cultivation and especially in a new vegetable garden, it is important to assess the soil in order to be able to plan well. Helper plants support us in mixed cultivation and can confuse and ward off some unwanted guests.
Lecture with discussion and sharing.
No previous knowledge necessary.
This is the third part of a four-part course series - Part 1 and Part 2 build on each other, Part 3 and Part 4 are an extension/supplement to the subject area
The course takes place in cooperation with DI.in Melanie Wiedl in the Impuls Center Seeboden, entrance on the right on the first floor.

For anyone with an interest in sustainable topics. Previous knowledge is not required.
The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged. The "VHS Green" course encourages personal and social change and promotes sustainable lifestyles. The learning objectives are to acquire knowledge about, for example, ecological, social and economic interrelationships and to motivate students to act in a reflective, responsible and resource-conserving manner. #vhsforfuture #BNE
