GardenNature course series
Everyone knows them, the large, green areas in parks, in the soccer stadium or in the garden. They are called lawns or meadows, and they are just as different. Opinions are often divided when it comes to greenery in the garden. How sustainable is my lawn or meadow? Together, we will attempt to clarify the issue and broaden our view towards a sustainable perspective.
We will impart practical knowledge for the garden and our environment. Lecture with discussion followed by a practical tour.
No previous knowledge necessary.
The course takes place in cooperation with DI.in Melanie Wiedl at the Impuls Center Seeboden, entrance on the right on the first floor.
www.natur-forschen-entdecken.at
For anyone with an interest in sustainable topics. Previous knowledge is not required.
The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged. The "VHS Green" course encourages personal and social change and promotes sustainable lifestyles. The learning objectives are to acquire knowledge about, for example, ecological, social and economic interrelationships and to motivate students to act in a reflective, responsible and resource-conserving manner. #vhsforfuture #BNE
