GardenNature course series

A garden has many facets and we find just as many living spaces in the garden. They are inhabited not only by numerous small and inconspicuous creatures, but also by fluttering, crawling, creeping and running creatures. In order to maintain a natural balance in the garden and keep the ecosystem running, a wide variety of habitats are of great benefit. In the course, we will discuss which habitats are now in the garden, what they look like, which ones we can usefully expand/add and how they are maintained.

Lecture with open discussion and joint exchange.

No previous knowledge necessary.

The course takes place in cooperation with DI.in Melanie Wiedl at the Impuls Center Seeboden, entrance on the right on the first floor.

The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged. The "VHS Green" course encourages personal and social change and promotes sustainable lifestyles. The learning objectives are to acquire knowledge about, for example, ecological, social and economic interrelationships and to motivate students to act in a reflective, responsible and resource-conserving manner. #vhsforfuture #BNE
