Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly shaping our everyday lives - from language assistants and automated translations to intelligent analysis tools. But what does the term "AI" actually mean? In this workshop, participants will learn about the basic concepts, functions and fields of application of artificial intelligence.

Practical examples and interactive exercises are used to explain how AI works, what opportunities it offers for various areas of life and work and where its limits lie. Ethical questions and social implications are also addressed.

Aims of the workshop:

Understanding the basic concepts and terms of artificial intelligence

Insight into current application examples from everyday life and work

Reflection on the opportunities, risks and ethical aspects of AI

Initial practical experience with AI tools and applications
