Material costs - depending on the selected workpiece.
This course gives you a simple and easy-to-understand introduction to the exciting world of 3D printing. Together we will build up a basic knowledge of what 3D printing actually means, what advantages this technology offers and how to work safely and correctly with the devices.

You will learn what possibilities 3D printing offers in the private sector, e.g. for hobbies, repairs or creative projects, as well as in an industrial environment. Step by step, you will discover the great design freedom of this technology and find out how your own ideas can be turned into a printable model.

Practical work is an important part of the course:
We will practise using a 3D printer together, design a simple test component and then print it ourselves. You will also receive support in developing your own small workpiece -> from the idea to the finished print. The design is carried out using easy-to-understand CAD software on a PC.

Contents of the course:

Basics of 3D printing in the private and industrial sector

Practical handling of 3D printing systems

3D printing of the designed model

A technical background is helpful for participation, but not essential - a love of tinkering and trying things out is enough.

Material costs:
Depending on the size and scope of your workpiece, additional material costs of approx. 15 € will be incurred.
