Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of traditional spinning and experience an old craft in a completely new way. In this introductory course, you will learn step by step how to turn loose wool fleece into an even thread and how relaxing and fulfilling this process can be.
Under expert guidance, you will practise using the spinning wheel, receive valuable tips on the choice of materials and technique and can look forward to your first self-spun meters of wool. No previous knowledge is required. Curiosity and a desire to try it out are all you need.

The course is part of our "VHS Green" course series, which focuses on sustainability and conscious living. Aspects of sustainability are discussed, possible courses of action are shown and reflection is encouraged.
